Adam and I had yesterday off so we took advantage of the gorgeous 65 degree weather and visited the New York Botanical Gardens. Our main reason for going was to visit the world famous Orchid Show. It takes place in the Haupt Conservatory which holds their rainforest and desert plants. The orchids are grown in a different area and then placed among the exhibits for the durration of the show. It is truly a breathtaking exhibit! Some of the orchids are so strange they don't look real, many are attached to hanging plants and you have to look up to see them, and some are so delicate they look like paper creations! Here are pics from our visit. Enjoy!

What beautiful colors! I'm so glad you both got out and enjoyed the weather and the flowers.
