Show Us Your Life (part 1) - Wedding Receptions and Honeymoons

Today's Show Us Your Life from Kelly's Korner is Wedding Receptions and Honeymoons. I am choosing to do 2 separate blogs because I have so many great pictures:) I'm doing this all in honor of our 3 Year Anniversary this past Wednesday! WOW...how time flies:)

Here is Part 1 - Reception

We had our ceremony and reception in the same place, Castle Farms in Charlevoix, MI. It was so nice for our guests to sit through the ceremony, stand up, turn around and be right at the reception! This is the inside of the Knights Hall and the set up for our reception.

We decided to skip the head table and instead have a sweetheart table just for us! You can't see it well here, but it had a black table cloth, candles, and matching centerpieces.



This picture was taken by my good friend Bri...this is one of our centerpieces. Some were pink, some were black, and they sat on the opposite color fabric square. They had candles around them, and a table number in black and pink.

We had the best caterer/baker ever! She had just started doing cakes, so she used us as her jumping off point. They may not have been the best looking cakes, but there were 6 of them and they were amazing tasting! The flavors: marble with chocolate frosting, cherry amaretto, bailey's irish cream with chocolate ganache frosting, strawberries and champagne, carrot, German Chocolate. And she made the top tier of the middle cake, our's to take home, Red Velvet....my favorite!! She also brought us a chocolate fountain!

Here we are dancing to "Hang On Sloopy" OHIO style! The MI girls tried to spell M-I-C-H instead of O-H-I-O but they were horribly outnumbered!!!! O-H!!
