I've been showing a real interest lately in photography. I don't have any formal training, and never really thought I was that good at it either. I'm sure that all of the real photographers out there will find flaws in my "work" but I've found myself stumbling on scenes that just scream to be photographed...mostly of objects, or perspectives. I only have a simple point and shoot, though I'm hoping to upgrade soon and maybe even take a photography class to learn even more. Here are some of my recent photographs, ones that I find fun/interesting/"good" whatever those things might mean to others.

Beautiful! You are very talented & lucky to have such a cool "neighborhood" to photograph!!
ReplyDeleteYou are an excellent photographer. Two of my favorites are the entry to the monument flanked by magnolia trees, and the picture of Jim & Kendall's house! Now those are great p hotos
ReplyDeleteI think some of the best photographers are those with little or no training. Your photos are lovely! I especially love the 3rd and 4th ones.
ReplyDeletethese are great!! you DO have an eye and find the simple beauty in things. i love the last image with the leaf. just remember....photography is about painting with light.....keep with it!! i loved when you visited the orchid house. those shots were uh-mazing!!
